- Title insurance fees depend on the sales price of the home, and are based on a promulated rate.
- Broker's commission is a full-service fee and will cost anywhere between 6% to 7%+.
- Doc Stamps (.007 times the purchase price of the property) are a transfer sales tax charged to the Seller at closing. Local property taxes are paid in arrears and are prorated between the Buyer and Seller at closing, based on the previous owner's tax base.
- FHA fees and costs are all fees and are now negotiable between an FHA buyer and seller.
- Home inspections fees are paid for by the Buyer and may include roof, termite, mold, chinese drywall, general contractor's review, sea wall ( if waterfront property), pool and other inspections.
